I chose to study GCSE Photography because it's both creative and a bit challenging, and testing your artistic skills and abilities. I've known about photography since I was a kid, but I never paid much attention to it. It wasn't until I visited some exhibitions and saw the amazing images that people could create that I realized the true potential of this medium. I also picked photography to explore what you can do with a camera and to figure out the secrets behind making a "good" photo. As I've explored into photography, I've been surprised by how intricate it can be, even though it seems like you're just adjusting a few nobs and pressing a button.
